Weekly Update May 29th- June 4th

This weeks lesson was taught by Brother Tonks and Bishop Sears.  It was on the Word of Wisdom.  Next weeks lesson will be taught by Sister Susie Layton entitled, "keeping faith and Testimony Strong During Adversity."

Don't forget that on Thursday (6/2) at 6:30pm we have our Relief Society Activity.  It will be at the church, nursery will be provided and spouses are invited!!!  We will be talking about temple covenants.  President and Sister Allen of the temple presidency will be speaking to us!

June 14th is our Ward Temple Night-  keep this night open to join us in the temple at 6:20pm.

Weekly Update May 22- 28th

Thank You to everyone that participated in our Trek Fundraiser!!!

This week, we will be combining with the Priesthood Bretheren for our fifth sunday lesson.  The bishopric will be teaching us about the Word of Wisdom. 

This Thursday, June 2nd we will be having our Relief Society Meeting.  It will be at the church at 6:30pm.  Nursery will be provided!  Also, we are inviting the men to this as well, so feel free to bring your spouse along!  It will be called, "Cupcakes and Covenants".  President and Sister Allen (temple presidency) will be talking to us about our temple covenants and marriage.  We would love for everyone to come join us, even if your spouse can't make it!!

Mark your calendars for the Primary Activity on June 11th.  It will be at the church from 10am-12pm.  They will be talking about Missionary Work with activites, games, and speakers!!  We look forward to having all the children participate in this wonderful activity!!



Weekly Update May 15th- May 21st

Last week's lesson was taught by Sister Wynn Powell about Missionary Work.  This week will be a Teaching For Our Times lesson taught by a guest teacher. 

Please remember that this weekend is our Ward Youth Trek Fundraiser.  It will be from 3pm-7pm at the Walker's home (4221 Rimrock).  There is a suggested donation as admission into the BBQ.  Come eat and enjoy the ward family while helping the youth raise money to participate in this wonderful opportunity.  Family-$30, Couples- $20, and Single person- $10.  Extra donations are welcome!

Saturday, May 28th is our Stake Temple Day.  Please feel free to come to worship at the temple this day with our stake. 

Tuesday, May 31st is our Relief Society Temple Session.  6:20pm session.

Mark your calendars for our Relief Society Meeting on Tuesday, June 2nd at 6:30pm at the church.    Nursery will be provided.   Details to follow.

Don't forget...the end of the month is getting close.  Please visit your sisters for visiting teaching.  Let them know you care and please report to your supervisors.  Have a great week!

Weekly Update May 8th- May 14th

This week's lesson is lesson # 33 "Missionary Work".  It will be taught by Sister Wynn Powell.  

Don't forget about the Youth Trek Fundraiser BBQ at the Walker's house.  It will be on Saturday, May 21st at 3:00.  It is a fundraiser for the youth to go on the pioneer trek to Martin's Cove.  The suggested donation is $10- single person, $20- couple, and $30- family. If you are able and would like to donate more, those donations will be greatly appreciated!!

Because the temple is closed for cleaning..we will not be having Ward Temple Night this month.
